How To Start Using SilentGuard™

The process basically includes three steps: downloading, activating, and getting to work with SilentGuard™.

1. Downloading

• First, download the distributive and install SilentGuard™ to your Palm OS device.
• Run SilentGuard™ on your phone. A welcome screen will appear telling your unique registration code and serial number. Please note that you will not be able to proceed further than this screen until you activate your copy of the software.
• If you want to register several SIMs, repeat the above actions for each SIM card. You can do so by either installing the software to several phones with different SIMs or by just switching and registering several SIMs in the same phone.

2. Activating

• On your Palm, click on www.pda-palm.net displayed in the welcome screen to proceed to Buy Online or click on the corresponding link if on a desktop computer.
• Enter your serial number and one to three registration codes, depending on how many SIM cards you are planning to use. Please make sure you type them exactly as displayed in SilentGuard™ welcome screen.
• Next you will be taken to your shopping cart on a secure server. Submit your payment details and make a payment.

• Once the payment is accepted, you will receive an email with links to your receipt and activation key. Don't worry if it doesn't arrive right away, as payment processing may take a while.
• Just follow the link for your activation key, and your copy will be activated automatically.

3. Getting to work

• Once your copy of SilentGuard™ is activated, you can secure your handheld.
• Open SilentGuard™ on your smartphone and enter the phone numbers you want to use to send alert SMS messages. Press "Test sending" button if you want to ensure everything's working correctly.
